Pankaja Munde (MLC)
Pankaja Munde was born on 26 July 1979. She has two younger sisters, Pritam Munde and Yashashari Munde. She is the National Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and also serves as an MLC in the Maharashtra Legislative Council in 2024.
She is known as 'Pankajatai' and this name is famous in Maharashtra. She is Daughter of former Cabinet minister late Gopinath Munde(Saheb). Pankaja Munde is married to Amit Palve. He is a business man. She has a son named Aryaman Palve. NCP leader Dhananjay Munde(DM BOSS) is her cousion.
She is agricultural social worker and she has done work for the farmers in drought prone area. She is now 44 working as Cabinet minister in Maharashtra government. She is former Minister of Rural Development and Women and Child Development Govt. of Maharashtra. Now her focus is on Rural Development and skill development in this era of unemployment.
From scholarships for girls to women-centric business schemes, Pankaja has championed policies that help women realize their full potential.
Her efforts were pivotal in making Maharashtra a leader in women’s empowerment initiatives across India.
