Dhananjay Panditrao Munde is politician native from Parali, Maharashtra. He started his political carrier under the leadership of BJP leader Late Gopinath Munde, who was his paternal uncle. Dhananjay Munde is currently a member of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) under Ajit Pawar. He worked as the Leader of the opposition in the Legislative Council of Maharashtra. He is one of the most aggressive political in the Maharashtra.
He was born on 15 July 1975 in Nathra, Parli Vaijnath, Beed in a Vanjari family.Dhananjay Mundhe, completed his education in Parli, Beed and from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. Dhananjay Munde is married to Rajshri Munde.
He is the Guardian Minister of Beed District and Ministry of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection. The ministry is responsible for consumer protection and regulating food and civil supply issues in Maharashtra. The Ministry is headed by a cabinet level minister. Before this he was Agriculture Minister in Shinde Government. Dhananjay Munde was first elected as MLA in 2019 election.
Munde has represented the Parli constituency in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly and has been involved in social and political work in the region. He has also held positions in the Maharashtra state government, including as the Minister for Social Justice and Special Assistance. Munde is known for his advocacy on issues related to social justice, empowerment of marginalized communities, and rural development.
Pankaja munde and Pritam Munde are cousions of Dhananjay Munde. Pankaja Munde is also Minister working with Fadanvis Govt.
Dhananjay Munde retained Parli by 1,40,224, defeating Rajasaheb Deshmukh of NCP (SP) in 2024 elections.
