Yashshree has become the first person to receive the award after completing her Master's degree in Law from Cornell University. She showed her sensitivity by donating the 250 US dollars she received with the award to an orphanage in the US. Only 11 percent of the students who applied for admission to this university get admission. Yashshree's number was in this. The graduation ceremony was held at Cornell University on Sunday. On this occasion, the university honored Yashshree Munde with the Promising Asian Student award.

She has become the first student to get a law degree from this university. The graduation ceremony was attended by mother Pragya Munde and elder sister and Rural Development Minister Pankaja Munde.
